The Lakes Region of York County is rich in history. For example, the County Court House in nearby Alfred, has some of the oldest land records in the entire United States, and is certainly worth a visit for history buffs. And speaking of history, why not take the family and travel back to yesterday...Willowbrook Village Museum is a fully restored 19th century village in Newfield. Another treat for everyone, but especially the kids, is to visit the Oakhill Alpaca Ranch on Route 11 in North Shapleigh. Enjoy the petting pen and see the wonderful products which can be made from alpaca wool. Their website is www.oakhill-ranch.com.

If you are looking to have a meal away, visit The Potting Shed Restaurant, which is nestled among the apple orchard on Route 109 in Acton. Known for their wonderful breakfasts, the new owners, Bill and Karen Palladino have expanded their menu to include marvelous dinners, as well. Talented chef, Chris Palladino, prepares incredible entrees for dinner, and we are confident you will not be disappointed. I enjoy working with the folks at Key Real Estate. The entire office has a warm and friendly atmosphere. A family business, Key Real Estate is a place where "agents" evolve into friends.
