The Lakes Region of York County is rich in history. For example, the County Court House in nearby Alfred, has some of the oldest land records in the entire United States, and is certainly worth a visit for history buffs. If you are looking to have a meal away, visit The Potting Shed Restaurant, which is nestled among the apple orchard on Route 109 in Acton. Known for their wonderful breakfasts, the new owners, Bill and Karen Palladino have expanded their menu to include marvelous dinners, as well. Talented chef, Chris Palladino, prepares incredible entrees for dinner, and we are confident you will not be disappointed.
